Executives who have excelled, often seek out renowned companies to work for when they plan a career move. Similarly, reputed organisations turn to recruiters with an outstanding track record when they search for competent and innovative executives who can drive their business growth.
For more than two decades now, the PricewaterhouseCoopers Executive Search and Selection (ESS) practice has built up an unrivalled reputation for identifying high-calibre human capital for established and reputable organisations.
The strengths of the practice are complemented by the specialist resources of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), which is marking a century of operations in Hong Kong. The premier professional services firm traces its origins to June 2, 1902, when Arthur Lowe registered as Hong Kong's first professional accountant.
PwC is celebrating the historic day by staging the Academy Award-winning musical, Fame, which dramatises the power of positive thinking. The show opens on June 6 at the Lyric Theatre, Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
As PwC prepares to mark this milestone, Fiona Yung, Senior Manager of Global Human Resource Solutions, notes that the Executive Search and Selection practice has itself evolved into a leading player in the market and has assisted many organisations in the appointment of key personnel, not only in Hong Kong but also in mainland China and throughout Asia.
She is a veteran in the search and selection industry, having joined the firm in 1988. She has witnessed the progress of the practice from its earliest days into becoming a preferred executive search and selection services provider in Hong Kong.
'Over the past 20 years, we have built up a solid practice based on our reputation for our integrity and professionalism,' Ms Yung says.
