Techno-lovers and clubbers can expect a raging good time when celebrated British DJs The Chemical Brothers perform in Hong Kong on July 25.
Pulsing beats mixed with urgent melodies and wall-to-wall dancing will fill the
Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The venue has a capacity of 6,000 and the entire space will be set up for standing room only.
The Chemical Brothers (Tom Rowlands and Ed Simons), renowned for their fast-paced and ever-innovative electronic music, had humble beginnings as party DJs at Manchester University.
They exploded into the dance scene with their first album Exit Planet Dust, selling 13,000 copies during its first year on sale in Britain. Their second album Dig Your Own Hole, released in 1997, sold more than 1.7 million copies worldwide, and was nominated for several awards.
Sold-out tours, highly successful remixes with artists such as Prodigy and Oasis' Noel Gallagher, and the Grammy award-winning single Block Rockin' Beats have only added to The Chemical Brothers' success.
