Heart-throb Nicholas Tse Ting-fung appears to have broken up with actress Cecilia Cheung Pak-chi and resumed his relationship with Canto-pop diva Faye Wong, whom it was rumoured he had split from three months ago. Confused? Macau-based fung shui master Szeto Six-chuen isn't. He puts the complicated relationships down to the fact that their past lives were also connected. Szeto said that by reading the 'Three Life Book', an ancient method of reading the past, present and next life based on a person's date and time of birth, Tse was a Taiping Rebellion activist in the middle of the 19th century. 'He appeared to be a teacher but, in fact, he was like a terrorist who would die for his religion,' said Szeto. 'In that life, when Nicholas was 13, he saved a woman who attempted to commit suicide by jumping into a river. This woman was Faye Wong, who was born to a rich family of government officials. Her husband cheated on her, so she tried to kill herself. So in this life, Faye appears around Nicholas to thank him for saving her in her previous life.' But, said Szeto, in both lives, they do not end up together. Szeto said that during the same period, Cheung was born to a well-educated family and was married to a general when she was 16. But her husband died and she became a Buddhist nun at 18. 'Later on, Nicholas fell in love with a nun and it turned out to be Cecilia,' Szeto claimed. 'But since she was already a nun, their relationship couldn't develop. Cecilia died aged about 55, unhappily. She is supposed to finish the unfinished relationship with Nicholas in this life.' Szeto added that Tse was killed by another radical at the age of 45 when he was in a church making confession to a Catholic priest. 'He inherited this memory subconsciously so he needs to escape from quiet places to protect himself,' said Szeto. 'This is why he drives fast.' After being saved by Tse, Wong isolated herself with only a rabbit for company, until one day, she was killed by bandits while out walking. The rabbit, the fung shui master said, is now Wong's daughter, Jingtong.
