Yesterday, SAR revealed Macau-based fung shui master Szeto Six-chuen's theories about how Canto-pop star Nicholas Tse Ting-fung's rumoured separation with Cecilia Cheung Pak-chi and reunion with Faye Wong was the result of the three stars' connection in their past lives. Szeto has more to say about another Canto-pop star, Edison Chen Koon-hei.
'Edison was an European priest in his past life,' said Szeto, after reading the 'Three Life Book' based on the star's date of birth. 'He had to go around Europe, Japan and China to preach.'
The fung shui master said Chen was an arrogant person in his past life and had retained the trait in the present. Szeto added that Chen's talent for speaking fluently in English and Chinese also stemmed from his past and his distinctive Western facial features were due to his previous European existence.
But the strangest thing, according to Szeto, was that Chen (above) witnessed Tse's death in their past lives. He said the then Taiping Rebellion activist Tse was assassinated while making confession to a Catholic priest - who happened to be Chen. 'That's why Nicholas and Edison have something in common [both are under Emperor Entertainment Group and speak good English] but they won't be particularly close to each other,' he said.
