I wonder if any of your readers have noticed the beautiful blue and white hanging orchids that grow in the trees on Lower Albert Road opposite old Government House?

A recent visit to Kew Gardens in London confirmed that these are Thunbergia laurifolia, a species of Acanthaceae from south India.

I would be interested to know whether anyone has seen these or their sister orchid, the yellow and red Thunbergia mysorensis, growing anywhere else in Hong Kong.
