The men, aged 20 to 28, were repairing an aircraft which was parked on a runway apron at about 4am when a lightning bolt struck the ground nearby. They suffered temporary partial paralysis and splitting headaches. The men were conscious when they were admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital with no external wounds.
