If you're a dedicated follower of cosmetic fashion, chances are you have gone big on pink and coral for lips, cheeks and nails, and on blue, lilac and silver for eyes. If you haven't, it isn't too late to get into the swing of things because several beauty houses are still rolling out their latest looks for this season. New from Bobbi Brown are Sugar Shimmer lipglosses in pearl and pink ($156) and juicy lip tints with sun-protection factor 15 ($130). Ranging from tea rose to black cherry and flavoured with a hint of mint, the six shades look ominously dark in the tubes but give much fainter, translucent colour on application. (The brand has also introduced eyeliners, mascaras, bronzers and a special-edition scent called Beach, $230.) Available from shop LG1-60, Festival Walk, Kowloon Tong, and counters in Joyce Beauty, Sogo in Causeway Bay and Lane Crawford in Times Square, Causeway Bay. Quirky cosmetics brand Tony & Tina, which aims to take you to a higher plane using colour and aromatherapy in its make-up products, has introduced its Divine Lip Shine range ($180 each) to Hong Kong. Containing essential oil of tangerine to keep lips moisturised, each colour has a name and purpose: neutral pink Detachment, for example, helps you 'let go of things that need to be set free'; Mindful, a light brown, aims to increase patience. From Seibu in Pacific Place, Admiralty and Sogo in Causeway Bay. Going for the glow is Lancaster with its Luminizer collection, which uses light-capturing optical particles and reflective pearls in its powders, lip and nail products to create an iridescent effect. Magic Powder ($355) is particularly light and soft and can be used as a facial highlighter as well as on arms and decollete to give gentle radiance. Lips and nails match with five shimmering colours (white, green, aqua, pink and orange) encompassing all of this summer's beauty trends. Lipgloss, $155; nail gloss, $105. From Lancaster counters in department stores. Fashion-forward make-up creator Francois Nars has decided we should all look cool in the heat and has focused his summer 2002 collection on icy shades with a nod to late-1970s glamour. Nars' Creamy Eyeshadows ($165) in silver (Starlight), taupe (Corfu), mauve (Penelope) and turquoise (Carioca) are ultra-fine, giving lids subtle shimmer whether they are used alone or under powder shadow for a more intense finish. Bringing some warmth to the look is Flair lipstick ($195), a tawny-red with a healthy touch of gold. Available from branches of Joyce Beauty.
