WARRIOR WOMEN: Top officials Rosanna Wong Yick-ming, Elsie Leung Oi-sie and Legco president Rita Fan Hsu Lai-tai struck a fearsome pose when they donned Chinese opera outfits based on the legendary female soldiers of the Yeung clan. The trio dressed in costume for a cultural show at Queen Elizabeth Stadium in Wan Chai yesterday to celebrate the SAR's fifth anniversary.

The Sung Dynasty legend tells of how the men of the Yeung clan, who were renowned warriors, were wiped out in battle. The women family members then went to war.
