THE distinguished Budapest Strauss Symphony Orchestra presents an evening of exhilarating Hungarian music in its ''Hungarian Fantasy'' concert, to be held tomorrow at the Hongkong Cultural Centre (HKCC) Concert Hall at 8 pm.
The concert is one of six concerts in the HKCC Midsummer Classics series, which began on Monday and continues till Sunday.
The concert will feature two outstanding violin and piano soloists from Budapest.
The programme of colourful Hungarian music includes works by Liszt, Brahms, Doppler and Bartok.
There will be Brahms's Hungarian Dances , Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsodies and Hungarian Fantasy, as well as Doppler's Hungarian Fantasy and Bartok's Hungarian Pictures.
The closing programme in the series is ''The Always in My Heart'' concert to be held on Sunday. It will feature light Chinese music and orchestral arrangements of Cantonese and Mandarin pop-hits.
