This annual campaign is co-organised by World Vision Hong Kong, Jusco Stores (Hong Kong) and the Hong Kong Housing Authority and supported by RTHK Radio One. Used books (secondary school textbooks, reference books, novels, children's books, hobbies and interest books) are being sought from Hong Kong households to be re-sold for charity in August. Proceeds will be given to World Vision's Special Education Project in Jingning, in Gansu province. Collections are under way, so visit www.jusco.com.hk to find out the addresses of the eight participating bookshops. There is also an online photo exhibition of images of the impoverished people living in the mountains of Gansu, taken by Canto-pop star Paul Wong during his visit to the region this month. These photographs are being auctioned at www.red-dots.com .
