Man convicted for chopping

Former warehouse worker Chan Ming-cheung, 46, was found guilty in the District Court of wounding his neighbour Choi Kwong-wing, 28, with intent. Chan denied the charge last week before deputy judge Joseph Yau Chi-lap, who adjourned sentencing until August 7. The court heard Chan attacked Mr Choi with a chopper on February 23 after he was caught shooting water into Mr Choi's flat with a fire hose through the flat's letter box.
