The 2002 Commonwealth Games being held in Manchester continue today with action in 11 sports.

The men's and women's mountain bike final will be held around the picturesque hills and lakes of the Lancashire countryside.

Cycling has featured in every Commonwealth Games, but it's only the second time in the history of the Games that mountain biking, now recognised as a world-class sport with the introduction of the Mountain Biking World Championships in Colorado in 1990, will feature.
