A mainland monk, Huang Jianning, 36, who came to Hong Kong as a visitor, pleaded guilty to one count of breach of condition of stay and was jailed for two months in Kwun Tong Court for taking illegal employment. Immigration officers raided the Fat Jong Temple in Sha Tin Pass Road, Tsz Wan Shan, on Friday and found him clad in a monk's gown and performing a funeral service. He was found in possession of a lai see packet that he received from a client. Another mainland monk, Chow Waichung, 35, who was arrested with Huang, was sentenced to two months' imprisonment on the same charge at Kwun Tong Court on Monday.
