I REFER to the letter headlined, ''Road out of bounds to all help?'' (South China Morning Post, July 6), suggesting an accident blackspot in Lei Tung Estate.

  Accident statistics in the last 12 months, show three accidents, incurring two slight and one serious injury at the section of Lei Tung Estate Road in question. Therefore, it is premature to say the site is an accident blackspot. However, this departmentwill monitor the situation and propose to the Housing Department (which is responsible for the management of this estate road) remedial action, if the situation warrants it.
