The English-medium Po Leung Kuk Vicwood K. T. Chong Sixth Form College in Tai Kok Tsui has about 360 Form Six places, its principal said yesterday while urging parents not to queue up overnight for allocation. Darnay Chan Siu-kui said it would make 90 places available for each of four streams: arts, business, biology and mathematics. 'There is no need to queue up as applications will not be accepted until students have their result slips and then they will be processed as a batch,' Dr Chan said. The school is holding an information day today from 9.30am to 1pm. It is the only government-aided sixth form institution in Hong Kong. It takes students from about 70 'feeder' Education Department schools that have no sixth form. About 100 of the places will be filled by such candidates. Dr Chan urged parents and students not to get too stressed about the results.
