Going Public World, 8.30pm It's May 2000 and a secret meeting between the owners of seven Apple computer dealerships from all over Australia decides that instead of cutting each other's throats with price wars, they can merge their stores and make each other rich. Almost overnight the group - including George Mekrizis, Robert Kloester and David Ford (all above) - would create a A$200-million (HK$840-million) corporation, which was then floated on the Australian Stock Exchange. Going Public is a four-part documentary which goes behind closed doors to follow the group's fortunes. City Cabs Pearl, 11.50pm This week, City Cabs visits New Orleans. The Big Easy lives up to its laid-back reputation as cab driver Larry Cushenberry shows Michael Krass his home and his church on a lazy Sunday. There's more to discover than Krass first anticipates, and voodoo and spicy Cajun cuisine are only part of the picture. Becker Star World, 9.30pm Ted Danson (above) stars as John Becker, a dedicated and talented doctor with a gruff exterior. Unfortunately, his interior isn't all that pleasant either. While he offends those who try to get close to him, he is extremely dedicated to his medical practice in the Bronx where he always goes the extra yard to help those in need. Also starring Terry Farrell and Alex Desert.
