TERRITORY officials are considering improving the design of the Man Kam To border checkpoint to ease traffic congestion and avert future strikes by lorry drivers. Legislators the Reverend Fung Chi-wood and Lee Wing-tat met John Yeung Hin-chung, Deputy Director of Immigration, yesterday to discuss the issue. Up to 4,000 drivers staged a protest at the checkpoint on July 23 over alleged corruption and inefficiency on the Chinese side.
