Ms Nguyen Thi Phuong, music graduate, $30,000. Suffered from stress as a result of detention here and previous imprisonment in Vietnam.
Nguyen Viet Hung, 36, $30,000. Almost blind in one eye, he suffered depression and anxiety in detention.
Captain Pham Van Ngo, 50, $30,000. Suffered additional stress because of criticism from the others for bringing them into such a situation.
Tran Quang Minh, now nine, $15,000. Described as a severely disturbed child.
Nguyen Hoang Anh, now three, $100. Born in June 1990 during her mother's detention.
