THE Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre is celebrating its 30th year of service in Hong Kong.

Established in 1963 by the Federation of Hong Kong Industries, it has been striving to provide local and international industries with the highest standard of laboratory testing and inspection services.

In 1984, the centre became an independent, non-profit distributing establishment to serve Hong Kong industries.

In the past 30 years, we have tested more than one million products, attesting that they meet essential safety, quality and performance standards. We have also made more than 100,000 factory visits to verify that the factories visited are capable of manufacturing to specific requirements and certify that the goods manufactured by them comply with stated specifications.
