Suicide woman lands on man

A pedestrian was injured when a woman jumping to her death landed on him in Yuen Long. The 27-year-old leapt from the ninth-floor lift lobby of Hong Shui House, Shui Pin Wai Estate, at 7.30am. She was taken to Tuen Mun Hospital, where she was declared dead. She struck a passer-by, 40, who was treated for injuries to his face and shoulder at the same hospital and later discharged. The woman's husband, 41, told officers she had been suffering from post-natal depression after having a baby daughter in July.
