The leading dancers of one of New York's hottest salsa societies are shimmying into town for what promises to be the hottest dancing week this summer. As a feature of their world tour, founders of the Abakua Afro-Latin Dance Company Frankie Martinez and Erika Herrera will be holding peformances and classes at different venues all week long. The Abakua dancers have been storming New York's East Village with their parties and dance style that mixes ancient salsa and mambo rhythms with modern moves, and Martinez's particular style of choreography that blends historical events with original costumes. Tomorrow, 8pm-late. Dance demonstration at 9.45pm. Club Ing, 4/F Convention Plaza, 1 Harbour Road, Wan Chai. Thursday, 7pm-11pm (7pm registration).
