The screen doors on an MTR platform at Yau Ma Tei station failed yesterday morning, but did not disrupt train services.

The incident happened at 9.30am on the Central-bound platform. Staff had to manually open the doors, which were left open for 30 minutes until automatic operation resumed at 10am.



Trains escape disruption as screen doors fail to open
