Two weeks to a better Wu
1-MIN READ1-MIN
It seems a sprucing up of public image is under way for Anya Wu. The up-and-coming Hong Kong actress, who was arrested with Canto-crooner William So Wing-hong during an Ecstasy raid in Taiwan in early June, entered a drug rehabilitation centre on the island yesterday. And the 26-year-old starlet (right) brought along eight books, including one that guides lost souls on how to turn over a new leaf.
'It's mostly self-help books she's brought with her and one of them is called something like 'Transform Your Life'. The whole thing has not been easy for a young woman like her,' said Wu's manager, Winnie Chan.
It certainly would be an impressive feat if she could transform her life in two weeks, her expected length of stay at the centre.
