Bus-only lane on highway plea

HAVING just seen yet another traffic accident involving container trucks on the Tuen Mun highway causing a three mile jam, I have a simple but drastic solution to the problems of bus travellers on this road - Make the inside lanes, in both directions, bus only lanes.

This is justified given the volume of buses using the highway. Goods vehicles and car owners would have to use alternative routes. They are after all, responsible for the majority of accidents and resulting chaos If something is not done soon, I predict increasing discontent from residents of these towns.
