A HONG Kong consortium has paid a reported A$130 million (about HK$694 million) for a hotel, retail and office complex in what is thought to be Sydney's biggest central business district sale for three years. Contracts were exchanged last Friday. Law firm Baker and McKenzie, acting for the unidentified Hong Kong consortium, said yesterday that a major refurbishment of the retail arcade was planned. The 587-room Hilton Hotel and Capital Centre in central Sydney includes nine floors of offices, a retail complex and a four-level car park.
