EVERY time I visit my friend in Tai Pei Square, Tsuen Wan, I am appalled at the amount of refuse that is left in the narrow strip of land which is a public area.
All sorts of articles are just discarded there and there is also a lot of dog faeces. Why hasn't the relevant government department not taken action against these uncivic-minded people? This refuse spoils the environment for other residents.
The ''Keep Hong Kong Clean Campaign'', has been successful, to some extent. However, in this case, more could and should be done.
