Currency of love

We all knew an acrimonious divorce from singer Kenny Bee and a split with boyfriend Edmund Chan would not faze Hong Kong's battling businesswoman Teresa Cheung Siu-wai (above).

It was just a matter of time before the 39-year-old social butterfly told the world she was in the mood for love again. And finally she is. But it's not without stringent criteria for would-be suitors.

'I need someone who is mature, wise and has been through life. I'm not going to be with someone who is not experienced in life,' she told SAR.

Cheung did not elaborate on what kind of life experience she was referring to. In view of her break-up with Bee and Chan, who have each gone bankrupt, it is assumed Hong Kong's thousands of men who have filed for bankruptcy definitely do not fit the 'mature and wise' category.
