The Kunqu Classics From Suzhou

When the Suzhou Kunqu Opera Theatre of Jiangsu hits the stage tonight, the troupe will perform without any amplification, using ancient methods of voice projection instead. The stage set also adheres to tradition, decorated in tanghui; the house party performances are in the style of the Qing dynasty. The troupe presents a different programme each night.
