Bad manners

I too was unfortunate enough to be at the disastrous Vanessa-Mae concert last Thursday night.

However, unlike Trevor Lunn (South China Morning Post, September 23) I was unable to contact the organisers, CSS, despite many attempts on Friday. Not prepared to give up I left two messages on their voicemail and requested that they return my call. They failed to reply. Is it a sign of their apparent disregard of public relations, or simply that they consider low standards of politeness and performance are acceptable?

Will we ever be considered a world-class city at this rate?
