A scan through the personal columns these days is bringing up more than the usual share of strange entries.
'Three-year-old cat with short and grey hair, loves eating. Sincerely looking for a girlfriend,' says one ad in Three Weekly magazine's new pet dating column.
None of the harsh requirements such as GSOH or NS here you'll notice, though we've never seen a cat that smoked - well, not a female cat anyway.
Following three-year-old Jiji's entry published this week, he's been out on no less than five dates.
Jiji's owner, Ms Fu, said she placed the advert because she knew he was sometimes bored.
And gentlemanly too, apparently - Fu said all the dates so far had been purely platonic. Which, let's face it, is a tad surprising given the seductive shot of Jiji accompanying the advert.
