New chairman for HKIFA

Lin-Yoke Seetoh, a director of Baring Asset Management, has taken over as chairman of the Hong Kong Investment Funds Association. She succeeds Joseph Silva, chief executive of Friends Ivory & Sime Asia. She said the HKIFA would develop more educational initiatives to promote mutual funds to retail investors.
