Hong Kong's greatest-ever cyclist Wong Kam-po will be chasing a medal today in the men's 50 kilometre individual time trial final at the 2002 Busan Asian Games. 'It's not his main event but he still has a good chance for a bronze medal,' said Alex Wong of the Hong Kong Cycling Association. The 29-year-old is more powerful in the individual road race in which he was the gold medallist at the 1998 Bangkok Asian Games, the 2001 All-China National Games and the 2001 Asian Championships. Before Wong begins his effort at 12 pm (HK time), his teammate Alexandra Yeung Ka-wah races in the women's 24 km individual time trial final at 9 am (HK time). Meanwhile, the SAR's fencing aces go sword to sword in the women's individual foil and sabre events today. The men's epee and foil medals were decided yesterday.
