Towering American basketball player Shaquille O'Neal has his creative side. An artwork made by the two-metre, 143kg NBA superstar is part of an exhibition that opens at Festival Walk today. The event, organised by Swatch - 'timekeeper of the 2004 Olympics in Athens' - also showcases the works of 10 international artists such as French interior designer Audree Putman. Each contributor was provided with various watch parts and athletic items such as, in one case, a table tennis racquet to create their masterpieces. Shaq's piece de resistance was a sneaker painted in gold, an apt colour in view of the big man's glittering career. But apparently the medium-sized shoe provided by Swatch was a mistake - the LA Lakers giant takes a size 20.
