ACTOR Tony Leung Chiu-wai can carve another notch in his career now that he has successfully held his first solo mini-concert.

Leung's ''Am I A Good Lover?'' mini-concert at the AC Hall was in celebration of his debut Mandarin album, A Little Love Everyday . The show was organised by Commercial Radio.

Wearing leather vest, jeans and long hair, Leung sang over a dozen songs, most of them from his recent Mandarin album, including ''A Little Love Everyday'', ''You Are So Unforgettable'', ''I Will Break Your Heart'' and his old Cantonese favourite, ''A Foggy, Rainy Night''.

Instead of using music minus one backing, Leung opted for a live band, saying he liked the heavy metal sound, which he found ''flexible'' for performances.

Besides singing his own songs, Leung gave a loving rendering of other pop star hits, such as Kenny B's ''Let It Be''.

The versatile entertainer also put his acting talent to work as he went through the motions of a love story to match lyrics.
