Hong Kong: With three days of competition left at the World Masters Games in Melbourne, Hong Kong's 24-strong squad have reaped 11 medals in athletics, swimming and table tennis events. Tin Sheung-kwai (men's 55 age group) won a gold medal in the 50 metres breaststroke in 37.47 seconds, while teammate Wan Lap-san (men's 35) also claimed the gold in the same discipline with a 32.10. In table tennis, So Moon-choi and Tung Chi-ho combined to win the gold in the men's 45 age group. Ng Tung-wah and Chan Chi-ming also won gold in the men's 35 age group. Gillian Castka claimed her second silver medal. She finished runner-up in the 8km cross-country event in a time of 32:08, and yesterday added another silver by posting 18:39.05 in the 5,000 metres for the 45 age group.
