A man was arrested by the Independent Commission Against Corruption for allegedly swindling more than $600,000 from a woman by falsely claiming he was the deputy commissioner for labour and persuading her to invest in two flats he was entitled to under a new 'government housing programme'. He was released on bail pending further inquiries.
