When Temptation calls
Couples suffering the seven-year itch now have a chance to find out whether they should break up or stick together. Fox TV is planning a Putonghua version of the controversial reality show Temptation Island, which sends unmarried couples to a hideaway to test their fidelity.
Four pairs of contestants will spend two weeks on a Malaysian island in February 2003, during which they will be separated from their mates. The girlfriends will have a choice of 11 single men to date. Ditto their boyfriends.
Those dying to test their mates (or looking for a reason to separate) should fulfil the following criteria:
- Be at least 21 years of age;
- Speak Putonghua (but because the programme will be subtitled, even Hong Kongers with broken Putonghua are welcome);
- Be good looking;
