The mainland maker of a male impotence drug likened to Viagra plans to raise up to HK$100 million from a listing on Hong Kong's Growth Enterprise Market.
Joygra is one of the three main revenue-earning drugs produced by Shanxi province-based Golong International.
Chairman Wang Bingqi said that although it also treated male erectile dysfunction, Joygra was not a copy of Viagra since it used different chemicals.
Viagra, produced by pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, has sparked a wave of mainland copycats since it was introduced in the United States in 1998.
Joygra was launched in February last year.
Mr Wang said the demand for anti-impotence drugs was huge, citing unofficial statistics showing the market was valued at 30 billion yuan (about HK28.45 billion) in China.
