Hands in the air

THE ECONOMIC downturn seems to be having little effect on the lure of high-end products for Hong Kong's upper-crust.

Century-old Swiss watch manufacturer Jaeger-LeCoultre attracted more than 100 of the SAR's finest to a launch party at the Tamar Site's Integer Pavilion. Spotted marking time among the throng were restaurant tycoon Raju Harilela, architect Andrew Kinoshita, ATV's chief financial officer Charles Yang and Dr Cornel Li. Jaeger-LeCoultre managing director Daniel Rogger and colleague Magdaleina Lam were also on hand.
