Tonight's Candy Store party will be the last bash at the Emperor Hotel venue in Happy Valley before the Pink Mao Mao becomes a private members club. And it is going to be huge.
'We are going to go out with a bang,' said Yeung, whose Wednesday night parties at the club go a long way towards explaining Hong Kong's current lack of Thursday morning appointments. 'Tonight is our night to thank all the people who made Candy Store and Pink Mao Mao such a success.'
The closure clears the decks for Dragon-i, Yeung's ambitious 6,500 sq ft Wyndham Street venture in The Centrium, which opens on November 27.
