Christmas is the season of giving, but let's not get carried away. That's the policy of Nancy Floto, whose wonderful Christmas Fantasy shop has opened again in Exchange Square.
After her experience last Christmas, she has axed her famous $20,000 'total tree' service, for which ritzy customers would have perfectly dressed Christmas trees decorated and set up in their homes.
The problem was some Scrooges cottoned on to the shop's money-back guarantee. They were taking receipt of the trees on Friday, throwing a huge Christmas party on Saturday and returning the tree on Monday, saying they 'weren't happy'.
Floto happily returned their money, until the day she received a Christmas card. It showed her 'dissatisfied' client and her guests gathered around the recently returned tree.
