Yellow Halloween

What is being billed as the Halloween bash of the century takes place at the Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences tonight. Cream Clubbing Capitals Tour

Cream, the legendary club from Liverpool, visits Hong Kong as part of its 10th anniversary worldwide celebration. The 'Cream Clubbing Capitals Tour' is whipping through 10 of the coolest capitals with DJ Seb Fontaine, known for his BBC Radio 1 show in Britain and the Prototype Mix CDs of progressive house and breaks. A new event hits slick Wan Chai bar One-fifth tonight. DJ Simon Pang presents Ride Movements: The Eclectic Soundtrack For Hong Kong Modernists. The Eurasian DJ comes from a party-promoting past in Britain and brings to the SAR everything from '1960s blue-beat ska to 21st-century big-ass breaks, fuelled by timeless examples of mod-music culture'. Hitec features legendary British DJ Dave Seaman who, in his 10-year career, launched influential music magazine Mixmag while spinning at superclubs Cream, Gatecrasher and Renaissance. Corroboree

One of Australia's most exciting dance companies, Bangarra Dance Theatre, presents a highlight of the New Vision Arts Festival. Corroboree blends 40,000-year-old Aboriginal culture with striking, contemporary dance as it tracks 'three indigenous Australian dreamings: brolga, kangaroo and turtle'. The Ninth Year Of One Hundred Years Of Solitude

Classic Wind

The 27-year-old resident conductor of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Choi Ho-man, has designed a concert dedicated to the clarinet. The orchestra's principal clarinettist, Andrew Simon, performs on the basset clarinet. A graduate of New York's Juilliard School, Simon made his debut at Carnegie Hall in 1988 after winning the Artists International Young Musicians Auditions Clarinet Award. Manjit Bawa

Manjit Bawa was born in 1941 in Punjab. He studied silk-screen printing in London, and since returning to India has emerged as one of the country's most influential contemporary artists. In The War Zone

The University of Hong Kong's Journalism and Media Studies Centre and Graduates Association present a film screening and book launch. From Ground Zero To Ground Zero is a documentary by Emmy-winning American film-maker Jon Alpert. It follows the story of Masuda Sultan, an Afghan woman raised in New York who travels from the rubble of lower Manhattan following the 9/11 attack, to her family's village. But at the small Afghan farming community of Chowkar-Karez, 19 members of her family have been killed during American bombing raids. Following this is the launch of Susanna Cheung's Reporting Chaos: A Journalist's Eye Witness Account From The World's War Zones. Cheung has spent 15 years covering conflicts in Afghanistan, East Timor, Cambodia, the Balkans, Tibet and Indonesia for Chinese-language papers in the region, the BBC World Service and Reporters Without Borders.
