Naming rights and wrongs

We all know names are a fate-determining business in traditional Chinese lore. But what about Western names? According to the South China Morning Post's horoscope columnist, Edwin Ma Lai-wah, they reveal much about one's personality and luck. He advises against the following:

Steve: It sounds like the word 'stiff', so people with this name are stubborn and tough. Steves can be unreasonable and tend not to listen to people.

Robert: Aggressive and rough

Peter: Slimy

Elizabeth: Indecisive and apt to be depressive

Susan: Too sentimental
