Famous five bound for Hong Kong?

Rock band Suede may be coming to Hong Kong, according to SAR sources. Industry insiders said a concert promoter was working hard to bring the British quintet, led by Brett Anderson (left), here in January as part of an Asian tour.

While the date and venue have yet to be confirmed, it would do organisers good to start preparing venues against delinquency. When the band last played here in 1999, excited fans caused mayhem as they scrambled to get into the show at the Exhibition and Convention Centre, breaking a glass panel in the process and injuring four teenagers.
