Since he was one of five finalists in last year's BP National Portrait Award, H Craig Hanna has enjoyed sell-out exhibitions in London and Los Angeles. Hanna trained at the New York Academy of Figurative Art but his talent was discovered when he was caught sketching during a fashion shoot in which he was a model. The artist was immediately offered an exhibition at the prestigious gallery of Bergdorf Goodman and his work now graces the hip collections of cult film-maker Paul Morrisey and actress Drew Barrymore. These recent paintings are figurative works that use the natural support of wood as a base for rich oil images. Galerie Martini, 1/F, 99 Wellington Street, Central. Tel: 2526 9566. Ends Nov 30
