THE Law Society has found a new publisher for its official publication, which will be renamed Hong Kong Lawyer. Sally Dellow, a director of Legal Business in Asia, said the society aimed to give the magazine a more modern look when the first issue comes out in October. The professional body decided not to renew the contract with the existing publisher, Asia Law and Practice, after differences over advertising. Asia Law and Practice, which published the New Gazette , also complained that the Law Society had denied it access to information. Ms Dellow said someone within the Law Society secretariat would be responsible for providing the new magazine with information and putting it in touch with members needed for interviews. ''It is very much a fresh start. Our relationship will be built upon trust and good communication,'' she said.
