Cinematographer Chris Doyle gave a lesson in Aussie-rules chat-up lines on the Australian Consulate-General's celebrity-draped junk trip on Monday night. While actors Bryan Brown and Julian Sands circulated among the guests - Brown's movie Dirty Deeds opened the Commonwealth Bank Australian Film Festival last week; Sands is in Hong Kong to shoot scenes for Highbinders, starring Jackie Chan - Doyle (above, flanked by Brown, left, and Sands) was spotted engaging two beautiful young women by the buffet table. 'I did yoga for years,' the lensman for Chungking Express, Wong Kar-wai's hit movie, was overheard saying. 'I was great at it. But I decided to stop because no matter how supple I got, I could never quite bend my legs over my head far enough to ? ' Sadly the rest of the sentence was obscured by unanimous screams of 'that's disgusting'.
