GENEROUS BIDDING FOR clothing, bedcovers and ottomans raised $1.2 million in an auction for the Society for Aids Care at the Pokfulam home of Dairy Farm chief executive Ron Floto and his wife, Nancy. Opera singing by Australia's Tomos Griffiths and a medley of Latin love ballads by Angelita Li and Brazilian Fusion, Eugene Pao and Daniel Auerbach helped soothe the post-bidding nerves of the event's 250 supporters. Prominent among the crowd were Toni & Guy's Susan Roberts-Cooper, local fashion designer Barney Cheng, Christian Dior's Peter Cheung and Van Cleef and Arpels' Benjamin Vuchot and Mara Hotung.
