Boys' hockey champions St Ellis Kadoorie Secondary School (West Kowloon) take on West Island School at Happy Valley this afternoon with their semi-final qualification secure. The champions are already certain to contest the semi-finals in February next year after defeating Group One rivals Diocesan Boys' School (DBS) 2-0 and Chinese International School (CIS) by a whopping 33-0 margin. DBS should qualify in second place - they beat West Island 2-0 and gave poor CIS another thrashing, 14-0. In Group Two, St Francis Xavier's College, Island School and South Island School are set to tussle for the two semi-final berths.
