A MAN appeared in Eastern Court yesterday, charged with selling fake tickets for the Leon Lai Ming concert last Sunday night at the Coliseum.

No plea was taken from Lam Cheung-shun, 20, who faces a charge of obtaining property by deception on August 1 outside the Sogo department store in Causeway Bay.

The charge alleges he obtained $1,280 by falsely representing that four copies of tickets valued at $320 each and dated August 8 were valid for the Lai concert.

Magistrate Michael Hill adjourned the case pending an identity parade. He granted Lam bail of $2,000 cash.
